Introduction
The homeowners associations in Bulgaria are going to become major subjects in charge of the responsible management and maintenance of condominium multistory apartment buildings. They are called to turn over currently existing concept that homeownership is attended only by rights. The homeowners associations are the subjects that are supposed to unite individual efforts in taking the responsibilities of owning. This handbook is addressed to those who unite their efforts and announce their intention to take real care of their homes as inherent part of the common living environment. The handbook for homeowners associations in Bulgaria is prepared on the main principle of dialogue with those to whom it is addressed. Each individual homeowners association could find necessary information and to use it as basis for creative implementation in accordance with concrete conditions, specific characteristics and formulated goals. The experience gained in overcoming the problems would become the corrective that is going to write further this handbook, to complement it with new knowledge proved by the time.
